Two ways how to create task in Asana

1.  You can add new task via "Create new..." button

  • Choose Task and press the button, you'll have pop-up in bottom right hand corner. 

  • Set a name for your task and add it to your project in Asana, so we could see it. You can describe all additional information in task description. 

  • Press "Create task" button to finish creating task. 



2. You can create tasks directly in your project

  • In Asana there is a project inside every project-team. Choose section with name of your resource to access your project tasks. 

  • You'll see list of sections, like this:

  • Click on "New incoming requests and negotiations" section to choose the correct section

  • Press "Add Task" button so you could create new task

  • After you've created task, you can edit it the way you like - system automatically saves all newly made changes. 


3. Tooltips for making your request understandable. 

  • Always provide the exact URL from browser, instead of text description of the page

  • When you describe any kind of user experience do not forget to mention person username, id or email

  • When describe occasion on site it will be helpful if you provide exact time or reference id     

  • On a screenshot highlight the place you are talking about. Use any of these tools Lightshot, Monosnap 

  • Do not hurry up with suggestion how to resolve the issue. At first describe the issue itself. Maybe we advise you a better solution

  • Always put a task into New Request section on your project.
