Advantages of being a Provider or a Consumer

When you provide your models for ModelNet:

If customer spends money on the other website on your models, it works that way.

Let's take a look at an example what exactly every participant gets.

Customer buys 10 credits for $10 and then spends it on your Model.

There are 5 participants:

  1. Customer receives 10 credits at his account and then customer account balance debits with -10 credits because he spent it;

  2. ModelNet receives 10% fee = $1;

  3. Other website owner receives $10 at his merchant account and we debit his ModelNet balance with $8;

  4. You as a Model provider receive 70% = $7;

  5. Your Model receives credits/tokens. And it’s important. When Model withdraws earned money, she gets it regarding the currency ratio. Now it’s 1 credit = $1. So you’ll need to pay your Model $1 for each credit she earned.

As we said Customer paid Model 10 credits. For example, Model gets 30% of each sum (you can change it in Performer settings), so Model earned 3 credits. You as Model Provider as we said receive $7 and need to pay your Model 3 credits = $3.

When you publish models from ModelNet at your website:

If customer spends money on your website on Modelnet models you receive 20% as it described in p.3 in previous case.

This article is describing how you can increase your profits as a Consumer.

When you publish your models at your website:

If customer spends money on your website on your models, you get 100% of the money and pay to your models regarding the payout percent you set at “Manage performers” settings.
