How to get a NetBilling Merchant account

  • If you don’t have a NetBilling Merchant account

  1. Open https://www.netbilling.com/start/

  2. Fill in the gaps

  3. If there is no answer for a long time, please contact Netbilling Sales team at sales@netbilling.com

We'd recommend you to prepare the following documents which NetBilling could request from you

  1. Personal ID

  2. Your email

  3. Company email

  4. Your website URL

  5. Your registered company Address

  6. Your bank account number

  7. Phone number

What needs to be prepared on your website

  1. Warning 18+ confirmation popup that appears on the screen when a user enters the content pages
    - request support manager to add this popup through https://scrile.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1

  2. Compliance form
    - add your support email to the Admin Dashboard → Settings → Support e-mail
    - so, when a user clicks a Report button next to a post, he can describe what is wrong with this post and this information will be sent to your support email.

  3. Customized Terms and Conditions Pages
    - use Admin Dashboard → Pages → Edit
    - Complaints policy, Refund policy, DMCA, Cookie policy

  4. A link to USC-2257 Compliance Statement on the website

  5. On the checkout page there should be a notifying text 'The charge on your credit card bill will appear as (your company name) on your credit card statement'.

  • If you already have NetBilling Merchant account

  1. Open Admin → Settings ->Payment Systems → NetBilling → edit

  2. Enter your NetBilling Account ID and choose Available currencies

  3. Contact Wendy wendy@netbilling.com or your personal manager from NetBilling if you will need any help with finding your ID

  4. Contact our support team https://scrile.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1 if you need any help with Admin Settings

  • If NetBilling rejected your merchant account application

It happens because NetBilling mostly work with companies with large transaction history and a growing number of transactions. Please, let us know if you will get any additional info.
