The RTMP addon is a feature designed to empower performers by enabling them to stream live content to the Scrile Stream site using popular broadcasting software like OBS (Open Broadcaster Software).

Key Features:

  1. Stream to Scrile Stream via OBS:
    Performers can use OBS to broadcast their live streams directly to the Scrile Stream site, leveraging the RTMP protocol for seamless integration.

  2. High-Quality Streaming:
    The RTMP protocol ensures stable, low-latency streaming.

  3. User-Friendly:
    The addon is easy to use, allowing performers to start streaming quickly without technical hurdles.

How It Works for Performers:

  1. Download and install OBS (or another RTMP-compatible streaming software).

  2. Configure OBS with the RTMP server URL and stream key provided by the Scrile Stream platform:

    1. On the broadcast page, switch toggle to RTMP mode (1) and enable online mode (2).

    2. The values that appear for Server(1) and Key(2) need to be inserted into the OBS settings.

  3. Start stream

  1. The broadcast will become available on the main Scrile Stream page within 15 seconds.
