How to customize. Development license
There are three ways of customizing the site:
Create a copy template in a separate domain. This option is suitable if you want to develop on your own server (if you have Webvideo full license on your hardware). Create the copy of the site via Plesk panel, this copy will serve for development. The resulting changes must be merged with a functioning site. In this case we do not provide support since we are not responsible for the changes made.
Always keep a backup of your file on your hard drive so you can recover an early version in case something goes wrong with this online tool.
Test your site on a staging development environment before going live. Make sure it's working as required on various web browsers and mobile devices.
3. Development licence:
Development license is a license allowing to launch an independent copy of WebVideo on a local computer of a developer for the development purposes.
Benefits of using development license includes:
Full and independent development copy of software with database to work on the code without a risk to break production server
Restart of local development copy of webvideo can be done at any time.
Thanks to local network (or local PC usage) the code access and modifications could be done much faster.
Full local testing before release of new features to production.
With git use it is possible to allow multiple developers to work on the same code
Delivery of the code to the production server will be done via git, and the same git access is used for concurrent code access and concurrent development.
