Appointments

This add-on allows members to easily book both online and offline paid appointments with their favorite creators and facilitates the whole process for both parties.

Please note that online appointments can be activated independently, but offline appointments must be paired with online appointments. If you’re interested, contact us at sales@scrile.com

How to set up prices for appointments in the admin panel?

  1. Go to site settings in the admin panel and choose the “Pricing” section:

  1. Scroll down until you reach the “Appointment price” option and click on “Add Appointment Price” button:

  1. Set up a price name if needed and the amount of credits that will be automatically converted into your chosen currency; then click the “Save” button:  

  1. You can set up as many price options as you want. Each time you need to add an option, just click “Add Appointment Price”:

Online Appointments

How does a creator set online appointments?

  1. As a creator, after you have logged in to your profile, go to “More” section on the right bar and choose the Appointments section:

  1. A creator has the possibility to set up different types of online meetings: chat, video, or audio. For each type of meeting a creator can set up its duration and price by choosing the type and then clicking “Add price”:

  1. A creator can select the duration of a meeting and its price from the drop down menu and set up several options:

  1. To remove a duration/price option, simply click on the cross:

  1. After you are done setting up the prices and duration, click “Continue” at the bottom of the page, choose your available hours for each day of the week and then click the button “Done” that you will as well find at the bottom of the page:

  1. To edit the already created price/duration and availability schedule, go to “More” -> “Appointments”, then click on the pencil icon and choose a meeting option, for example, “Online meetings”. After that you will get to the the already familiar schedule creation sections (see points 2-5):   

  1. When a member books a meeting with you, you will receive a notification about the meeting request:

  1. After you have received a notification, go to “Appointments” and you will see the meeting request from a member that you can either accept or decline:

  1. If you decline a meeting request, you will have to provide a reason:

  1. Once you accept the meeting request, it will be automatically transferred to the Upcoming appointments section:

  1. A member has the possibility to cancel an already scheduled meeting, you can see the reason for cancellation in the Upcoming appointments as well (if a member cancels the appointment less than 3 hours before its start, the money paid for it will not be refunded):

  1. You can easily monitor both your upcoming meetings and new requests in the Appointments section. 

  2. Some minutes before the scheduled appointment you will see the reminder at the bottom of all the pages within the app with the possibility to go straight to chat with the member.

 

How does a member book online appointments?

  1. As a member, find a creator that you would like to book a meeting with, go to this creator’s profile and click on “Appointment”:

  1. Choose the meeting type, appointment date, duration/price and then choose from the creator’s available hours. The meeting time will be then shown automatically. After you have chosen everything, click on “Book”:

  1. Once you click on “Book”, there will be two options. If you do not have enough money to book a meeting, the system will offer you to add them to your balance. If there is already enough, you will see the confirmation that your meeting request is sent to the creator:

  1. If a creator accepts the request, you will receive a notification. You will also receive the notifications about how much time is left before your appointment:  

 

  1. The accepted meeting will be automatically transferred to the “Upcoming” section in “Appointments”:

  1. You also have the option to cancel a meeting, along with the possibility to add it to your calendar, send the creator a message and go to this creator’s profile by clicking on the kebab menu icon:

  1. If you cancel a meeting, you will have to provide the reason for cancellation. Please note that if you cancel your appointment less than 3 hours before the start, the money you paid for it will not be refunded:

  1. Otherwise, if a creator declines your request, you will also see it in your notifications section and the money you paid for the meeting will be refunded to your balance:

 

  1. In case of a declined request you can also see what reason a creator gave for the decline if you go to “Appointments” -> “Upcoming”:

  1. You can easily monitor both your upcoming meetings and pending requests in the Appointments section.  

  2. Some minutes before the scheduled appointment you will see the reminder at the bottom of all the pages within the app with the possibility to go straight to chat with the creator.

 

Offline Appointments

How does a creator set offline appointments?

  1. As a creator, after you have logged in to your profile, go to “More” section on the right bar and choose the Appointments section:

  1. You will be offered to choose the schedule for what type of appointments you would like to set up (you can choose both - in this case you will be first asked to set up your online schedule and then the offline one):

  1. The process of choosing your available time slots, editing your schedule, monitoring and cancelling a meeting is the same as those for the online appointments (please see the “Online Appointments” → “How does a creator set online appointments?” guide above).

  1. When a member books an offline meeting with you, you will receive a notification:

  1. After you have received a notification, go to “Appointments” and you will see the meeting request from a member that you can either accept or decline:

  1. If you decline a meeting request, you will have to provide a reason:

  1. Once you accept the offline appointment request, the system will immediately offer you to write a private message to a member who booked it to arrange the meeting details:

 

How does a member book offline appointments?

  1. As a member, find a creator that you would like to book a meeting with, go to this creator’s profile and click on “Appointment”:

  1. Сhoose the offline meeting type, then choose the date, the available time slot and click “Book”:

 

  1. When a creator accepts your request, you will receive a notification and most probably a message from them clarifying the meeting details:

  1. If you cancel a meeting (you can do it via “Appointments” → “Upcoming” in the “More” menu by clicking on the kebab menu) , you will have to provide the reason for cancellation. Please note that if you cancel your appointment less than 3 hours before the start, the money you paid for it will not be refunded.

  2. Otherwise, if a creator declines your request, you will also see it in your notifications section and the money you paid for the meeting will be refunded to your balance:

You will be able to see the reason for cancellation in the “Appointments” → “Upcoming” in the “More” menu:
