On the basic configuration of the platform, users can only make comments to Creator’s posts
directly to 1-to-1 chat:

Public comments addon will allow your Members and Creators to also make comments visible for
the whole platform. Creators can delete all the comments to their posts, Members can delete all the comments they wrote:
