The "Announcements" add-on allows administrators to create announcements that are visible to
all the creators or members (or both) of the website. The add-on provides special privileges to
administrators, granting them the ability to create announcements that reach a wide audience
within the platform. Here's how it works:
Administrators can compose announcements using a dedicated section within the
platform. They have the flexibility to customize the content, format, and design of the
announcement to effectively convey the desired message.
To create one, go to the Admin section of your site and click Announcements:
Click Add Announcement:
Using a simple editor type your message and complete it with images:
The add-on allows administrators to choose the target audience for the announcements. They
can select between creators, members, or both depending on the specific communication
needs. This ensures that the message reaches the intended recipients.
Choose who the message is addressed to and click Save:
Once an announcement is created, it is prominently displayed within the platform to the selected
audience. Your users will see the message at the top of their home pages. They can unfold it to read and then close, so that the announcement’s text doesn’t interfere with users' scrolling their home page.
You can send multiple announcements and users can switch between them. You can either
keep the messages short or turn them into long reads, users will be able to scroll down to read
them in full:
To edit the announcement, click the blue pencil button next to it in the admin section , to delete it, click the bin icon
